4 Annual report by the House of Democracy chair

Klaus Klipp, deputy chair of the House of Democracy, provides a report on the ongoing work with social media.

6 Annual report by the House of Democracy treasurer
Okan Karadag, treasurer, provides a report on the financial status of 2023 of the House of Democracy.

7 Election of the Board of Directors

Klaus Klipp and Okan Karadağ announced their wish to step down as they couldn’t devote the time needed for their positions.
The General Assembly accepts their wishes. The Assembly also instructs the Board of Directors to prepare the supplementary elections at an upcoming extraordinary General Assembly
8 Report on collaboration with SWEDO
Dr Hande Özsan Bozatli and Carina Eriksson report on the ongoing collaboration with SWEDO.
The report is approved.
9 Proposal to revise the House of Democracy Statute
The Board of Directors propose to revise the House of Democracy statute to simplify it and, if possible under Belgian law, change from a member organization to an online community with participation free and open for everyone. Instead of membership fees, the financial support will primarily be by donors. The revised statute should also include partnerships with others with similar views on democracy and working on projects with partners.
The proposal is approved.
